When we joined Highlight, their product experience felt more like a chore than an opportunity. Together with their product team, we set out to transform that experience into something seamless, engaging, and scalable. Blending AI-powered insights, community participation, and turnkey logistics, we helped shape the platform into a cohesive product success system designed to help brands test, learn, and innovate faster.
The Challenge
Highlight had a powerful concept but the product experience didn’t yet reflect the ambition behind it. Testing workflows were complex, the UX was unintuitive, and critical parts of the platform felt fragmented. The opportunity was to rethink the experience end to end and design a system that could support Highlight’s AI-first vision while making product testing feel intuitive, efficient, and even enjoyable.
Designing the End to End Experience
Working side by side with the VP of Product and Product Managers, we helped guide every phase of product design. Together we led user research and testing, mapped complex workflows, created prototypes, and redesigned the interface to simplify the testing journey. Our role extended beyond UX into product strategy and brand refinement, ensuring every part of the platform worked together seamlessly. From AI-powered survey tools to audience building and logistics management, each component was designed to support a clear and cohesive experience.
Elevating Research into a Growth Engine
We inherited a UX that made testing feel like a task to complete. By rethinking flows, introducing clarity, and refining interactions across the platform, we transformed the experience into something intuitive and engaging. Highlight’s platform now makes it easier to access insights, share findings, and act on results. AI accelerates analysis and surfaces meaningful recommendations, helping teams move from research to action faster. Research is no longer a bottleneck. It’s a growth engine that scales with customers.
